- (EDUCATION, Feb. 27) included the international relief and
- development agency CARE in a list of organizations
- characterized as a "new breed of antiwar activists" that attempt
- to counteract military-recruitment efforts. CARE does not engage
- in any of the activities that are described in the article.
- CARE's programs focus on the creation of small-scale enterprises
- owned by the poor, protection of the environment and promotion
- of good health.
